We heistated to go back to this buffet but decided to try it again. What a mistake! As we walked in I asked the cashier if the senior discount was in affect, she said yes. So we were seated and it was down hill from there. I don't think I have ever had a friend chicken wing that I could not eat! It was terrible. The food on the buffet line had no flavor once so ever. The thai soup smelled like shrimp. Once we left, we were told that we could not have the senior discount and later all three of us got sick. Rating of 0 out of any stars for this restaurant. Yuck!!!

We had some of the best food from this buffet everything is good and fresh . And everthing is extremely clean.

The price is same as the old China Bear, which is high in nowadays. The food is not as good
1. Winton soup using chicken, saw this first time. It should be pork.
2. Beef slice not all beef?
3. No Watermelon?

We used to enjoy going to China Bear, mostly for the crab legs on the buffet. Not only do they no longer serve them there, the quality of food has gone down hill. The green beans still had the strings, the cream cheese in the sushi was bad and my husband wouldn't go in the men's room again after seeing the condition, 2 urinals not functioning and greasy slippery floors. We both were ill after eating there. No longer worth the drive or money.

China Bear has got to be one of the best buffets in Houston. Their food is very good and they even carry some dishes atypical of other buffets. Their sushi is actually at par with ones you can get from sit-down Japanese restaurants. ...?
